Prior to practicing in British Columbia, Faisal has led a full-service law firm internationally, where he has advised on a variety of complex legal issues and transactions, litigated and won several high-profile and high-value commercial, corporate, and civil cases, and developed innovative legal solutions to many complex clients’ challenges. He has helped clients navigate high-stakes legal challenges and provided counsel to major corporate entities, including multi-national corporations.

Faisal’s experience covers corporate law and several commercial areas, including contract law, insurance law, insolvency law, commercial transactions and sales, banking law, collections law, carriage law, international trade and investment, and employment law. His litigation experience also includes cases involving public law, electoral law, torts, real estate, wills and estates, trusts, family law, and administrative law. Academic Rigor

Faisal adds significant intellectual capital to the firm. He holds an award-winning Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Commercial Law from the University of Exeter, which he passed without corrections, an extremely rare achievement. He spent over two decades as a law lecturer at Makerere University.
