HIS STORY
LIAM'S PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
The Tactical Litigator
Liam Grant serves as Senior Litigation Counsel at Adam Soliman Law Corporation. He brings over a decade of intensive trial experience to the firm, having managed hundreds of litigation files from inception to verdict. Liam embodies the firm’s philosophy of “We play offense, not just defense.” He is known for his ability to identify the weak point in an opponent’s case and exploit it through rigorous cross-examination and evidence analysis.
Liam’s approach is defined by deep preparation. He has a proven track record in the Supreme Court of British Columbia for challenging expert medical opinions and exposing credibility issues. Whether defending a business against a wrongful claim or pursuing a breach of contract, Liam builds cases designed to withstand the highest level of judicial scrutiny.
Corporate & Franchise Expertise
Liam offers clients a unique “insider” perspective on business law. Prior to joining the firm, he served as In-House Litigation Counsel for Freshslice Holdings, one of Canada’s most successful franchise networks. In this role, he managed a broad spectrum of commercial risks, including franchise disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, and competition agreements.
This experience allows Liam to think like a business owner. He understands that litigation is not just a legal exercise; it is a financial decision. He advises corporate clients on risk management strategies that protect the bottom line while aggressively defending their commercial interests.
Insurance Defense Background
Liam spent over ten years as Associate Counsel at a prominent insurance defense firm, where he handled complex liability disputes and fraud claims. This background gives him a tactical advantage in civil litigation; he understands exactly how the “other side” evaluates quantum and risk. He uses this experience to secure favorable settlements for his clients, often convincing opposing counsel to abandon or significantly reduce their claims before trial.
